LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Medaglia d’Amour has been scratched from the $2 million Breeders’ Cup Ladies’ Classic on Friday at Churchill Downs after spiking a temperature.
“She coughed a couple of times, too, so we can’t run her like that,” said trainer Ben Cecil.
Medaglia d’Amour is winless in three races this season.
