OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) — A 58-year-old former Washington Lottery employee is accused of threatening to bomb the lottery building in Olympia.

The Olympian reports (http://bit.ly/rL81B9) that Mary Ellen Skube was charged this week with a felony count of making a bomb threat. Court papers say the phone threats were made Oct. 11. That evening, Skube was pulled over and arrested for investigation of DUI. She remains in the Thurston County Jail.

Prosecutors allege that Skube said she wanted to kill Lottery Director William Hanson and had put a bomb in his office that would go off after working hours. Court documents say she made bizarre statements, “such as claiming that she was pregnant with Jesus” and described drinking a bottle of tequila, followed by Jack Daniels.

It was not immediately known whether she was represented by a lawyer.

A lottery spokeswoman says Skube was a fiscal analyst in the finance department. Her last day of employment was July 1.
