ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — Mike Croce threw for 328 yards and three touchdowns as Bryant beat Albany (N.Y.) 31-17 on Saturday in a Northeast Conference game.

It was the first conference loss for Albany, which fell to 5-1 in NEC play, 6-3 overall. Bryant, meanwhile, improved to 6-3, 4-2.

Croce completed 22 of 30 pass attempts as all three of his touchdown passes came in the second half. After Bryant took an early 10-0 lead on a field goal and a 2-yard run by Jordan Brown (157 yards rushing), Albany rallied behind quarterback Dan Di Lella. He threw for 244 yards and two touchdowns, one to Cole King and another to Ryan Kirchner as the Great Danes took a 17-10 lead early in the third quarter.

But Croce connected with Jordan Harris for touchdowns of 34 and 66 yards in the third quarter, then hit Zack Wilson on a 6-yarder to close the scoring.
