Prep notes: New start time for Hockinson soccer

The start time for Saturday’s 2A district girls soccer playoff between Hockinson and Mark Morris has been pushed back to 5 p.m. at District Stadium in Battle Ground. The winner will clinch the district’s No. 3 berth to next week’s 2A state tournament.
Cross country
State meet — The WIAA state cross country championship meet will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Sun Willows Golf Course in Pasco.

Volleyball
1B district — Seton Catholic and King’s Way Christian will play in the 1B district title match at 6 p.m. Saturday at Adna High School. Both teams have clinched berths to next week’s 1B state tournament in Yakima.
