PASCO, Wash. (AP) — A Pasco, Wash., man accused of strangling his pregnant ex-girlfriend in May 2010 has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter.
The Tri-City Herald reports (http://bit.ly/t3BM00) that 23-year-old Kurtis Chapman was sentenced to 24 years in prison after entering his plea Monday in Franklin County Superior Court.
Chapman has been jailed since the death of 19-year-old Shenay Greenough of West Richland. She was about eight months pregnant at the time. Her unborn daughter also died.
