Arson dog hits on suspicious fire at Seattle bank

SEATTLE (AP) -- An arson dog trained to sniff out fuels "hit" on the fire that burned an ATM at a Bank of America branch in Seattle.

Fire Department spokesman Kyle Moore says the fire looked suspicious as soon as officers responded about 2 a.m. Wednesday to an alarm. He says ATMs don't spontaneously combust.

KOMO Radio reports firefighters had to break down doors to extinguish flames inside the bank.

Police and fire department investigators are checking surveillance video.

The fire damaged the ATM and burned cash in the machine.
