A burglar made a successful entry but apparently got no loot during a break-in early Tuesday at the US Bank branch in Hazel Dell.

According to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, the burglary was discovered just before 2 a.m. by a security officer who noticed a broken glass door at the bank, 6829 N.E. Highway 99.

Security video from the bank shows a white male entering the unlocked foyer of the bank where an ATM machine is located. He then threw an item at one of the glass entry doors, broke the glass, and entered the bank.

Although he did not steal any cash, he damaged some computers and electrical equipment, according to the sheriff’s office. It is not known if he stole any of the bank’s property.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
