Night work to close I-205 in Salmon Creek next week

Nighttime work on Interstate 205 in Salmon Creek will make travel rough for drivers next week, WSDOT said.
Crews will fully close southbound lanes of I-205 between the Interstate 5 junction and Northeast 134th Street between 11 p.m. Monday and 5 a.m. Tuesday.
Drivers should plan to use alternate routes. Local traffic can follow a detour at Northeast 179th Street to Salmon Creek, WSDOT said in a release.
Crews will be smoothing the road service with a diamond grinder where contractors reinforced concrete panels two weeks ago, the release said.
The work is part of the Salmon Creek Interchange project.
