What’s happening in Clark College athletics:

MEN’S SOCCER

Standings — Clark finished the regular season with an 11-2-4 record and ranked fifth in the final NWAACC coaches poll.

Recent results — The Penguins were upset by Olympic 1-0 in the first round of the NWAACC playoffs Wednesday, bringing an end to their season. Olympic scored the game winner in the 91st minute.

WOMEN’S SOCCER

Standings — The Penguins finished the regular season with a 6-11-0 record.

Upcoming schedule — The Penguins defeated Highline 1-0 Wednesday at the Starfire Complex in Tukwila. Brittany Wilson scored in the 70th minute. Kayla Schlecht recorded the shutout in goal. Clark advances to play at Walla Walla in the quarterfinals on Saturday.

VOLLEYBALL

Standings — Clark, which wrapped up a playoff berth last week, closed out the regular season with a 25-19, 25-20, 25-22 win Wednesday at Green River in Auburn. The Penguins finished tied for second in the West Division with Tacoma at 8-4, one game behind Highline.

Upcoming schedule — The Penguins begin play in the NWAACC Championship Tournament on Nov. 17 in Gresham.

CROSS COUNTRY

Upcoming schedule — The NWAACC Championships are Saturday at Everett.

BASKETBALL

Men — Clark is scheduled to take part in the Bellevue Jamboree on Friday.

Women — Clark is scheduled to host the Igloo Invitational, Nov. 18-20 at the O’Connell Center. The Penguins face Portland CC at 8 p.m. Nov. 18.
