Help sought to fix East Fork Lewis trail

BATTLE GROUND — Volunteers are needed Nov. 19 and 20 to help restore East Fork Lewis River trail No. 139 in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest.

Workers will cut back vegetation and restore portions of the trail tread. No experience is needed and the Washington Trails Association will provide the tools and instruction.

Volunteers are needed for either or both days. Overnight camping and a potluck are planned for Nov. 19.
