Good old Leonard Pitts, in his Oct. 31 column; “Iraq: A war we did not have to fight,” blesses us with his historical knowledge. Pitts,, like all good liberals, notes: “There were no weapons of mass destruction” and, of course, The Columbian prints such untruths. As I recall, “The Man” in charge in Iraq had killed his own citizens with WMD — yes, those that Pitts writes did not exist. Ask those who experienced them.
Possibly Pitts in his great historical brain can tell us about that stupid war that George Washington fought in that “we did not have to fight” and the statistics from that and subsequent useless engagements. No agenda with Pitts or The Columbian unless it could be … Bash Bush.
