FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) — New York Jets wide receiver Plaxico Burress and kick returner Joe McKnight are both probable for the team’s game Sunday night against the New England Patriots after returning to practice.

Burress sat out two days with a sore lower back but was a full participant Friday, as he expected, and has no doubt he will play.

“Yeah,” Burress says. “I’m fine.”

McKnight, the NFL’s top kickoff returner, was also back after recovering from a hyperextended toe, but says “It’s Patriots week. I can’t sit out this week.”

Safety Brodney Pool (left knee) is questionable for the game, as is backup tight end Shawn Nelson (illness).

Defensive end Mike DeVito says he’s “100 percent” after missing two games with a sprained knee and will play against the Patriots.
