EVERETT, Wash. (AP) — A dispute over a stolen car stereo ended in death at a home southeast of Everett.

The Snohomish County sheriff’s office says a 31-year-old Renton man went to the home Thursday night to pick up his car and discovered the stereo was missing.

He confronted a man he suspected of taking the stereo and tried to block his car from leaving.

The sheriff’s office says the driver pinned the man against another vehicle and he died at the scene.

Deputies arrested the 23-year-old Everett man who was driving.
