DURHAM, N.C. (AP) — Eddie Rocker carried 17 times for 128 yards and Damien Fleming passed for 186 yards and two touchdowns as Florida A&M defeated North Carolina Central 31-10 Saturday.

The Rattlers (7-3, 5-2 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) took a 28-0 halftime lead with touchdowns on three consecutive possessions in the second quarter, aided by two turnovers by the Eagles (2-8, 1-6).

After Lavante Page’s second rushing touchdown made it 14-0, Florida A&M recovered a North Carolina Central fumble at the Eagles 47.

The Rattlers got a break when Dewayne Harvey fumbled at the Eagles 1 after a 12-yard completion from Fleming, but teammate Tobias Lee scooped it up and scored to make it 21-0.

Anthony Shutt picked off a North Carolina Central pass on the ensuing possession and the Rattlers drove 60 yards, including a 32-yard run by Rocker, and scored on a 14-yard pass from Fleming to Kevin Elliott.
