Man fatally stabs self in front of WA deputies

BATTLE GROUND, Wash. (AP) -- A 50-year-old Battle Ground man fatally stabbed himself in front of Clark County Sheriff's deputies during a restraining order violation call.
The Clark County Sheriff's office said Friday the deputies were responding to a call of a restraining order violation in progress on Wednesday night. When they contacted the man in the residence, he began stabbing himself in the chest. He died at the scene.
