ALBANY, Ore. (AP) -- A delusional Seattle man who had stripped off his clothes and run off was found unconscious in a creek near Albany by Oregon State Police with a tracking dog.
Police say the man was face up Sunday and apparently suffering from hypothermia in the near-freezing weather. He was taken to a hospital in Albany and admitted.
Police say a trooper had earlier given the 19-year-old man and an 18-year-old Seattle woman a ride to a gas station after their car was disabled on Interstate 5. The trooper was called back after the woman flagged down a car asking for help. She said when they returned to their car the man became delusional, stripped off his clothes and ran into a wooded area.
