UPDATE: Man, 87, with dementia found

Police ask public to help find him, call 911

A man who was last seen on Tuesday morning was found safe as of Wednesday morning, police said.

Herbert Roy Nunn, 87, was reported missing on Tuesday. Police asked the public’s help to locate the man who was last seen around 11 a.m. Tuesday at his residence in West Vancouver. Nunn left his home sometime between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. in his silver Chrysler PT Cruiser with Washington license plate 921-XNW, a police bulletin said.

Nunn has Dementia and may easily get disoriented and seem confused if contacted.

Nunn is described as a white male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs 180 pounds, is bald and has hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, black shoes, an unknown color shirt and wire-framed glasses. He may be wearing a black, beret-style hat.
