Salon presents plus-size fashions

Camas — Wendee Hanlon, owner of Nico Bella Salon, held a plus-size fashion show during Camas First Friday Nov. 4 to give her customers and residents of Clark County access to fashionable plus-sized clothing that is normally only available online. First Friday’s theme was Art, Women and Wine. Around 200 women visited the salon throughout the night. Hanlon said there is a demand for plus-size clothing, and curvy women have good taste but not as much of a selection to choose from. The Northwest designer label Abi and Lois that put on the show is based in Lake Oswego, Ore. During the event, the salon showcased a variety of local vendors that cater to women, as well.
