State gives Port of Woodland clean audit

The Port of Woodland received a clean rating for 2008 to 2010, according to a report issued Monday by State Auditor Brian Sonntag.

“The port’s internal controls were adequate to safeguard public assets,” the report said. “The port also complied with state laws and regulations and its own policies and procedures in the areas we examined.”

The Port of Woodland, which is audited once every three years, has received a clean bill of health in the past two audits.
