LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) — The Chicago Bears have signed safety Winston Venable and placed safety Anthony Walters on injured reserve with a hamstring injury, bringing his season to an end.
An undrafted free agent out of Boise State, Venable had five special-teams tackles in five games for the Bears before being waived last month.
Walters, an undrafted free agent from Delaware, had one special-teams stop in four games.
The Bears announced the moves on Wednesday. Their active roster stands at 52.
