JOHOR BAHRU, Malaysia (AP) — Heavy rain washed out play Saturday and forced organizers to reduce the Iskandar Johor Open to 54 holes, with Sweden’s Daniel Chopra holding a two-shot lead going into the final day.

Chopra only had time to play one hole of his third round before the downpour forced play to be canceled for the day, with the two-time PGA Tour winner at 13 under.

None of the 72 players were able to finish their round, which will be completed on Sunday.

Defending champion Padraig Harrington of Ireland, James Morrison of England and Frenchman Gregory Bourdy were two shots back after also playing just one hole Saturday at the Horizon Hills Golf and Country Club in Malaysia’s southern Johor state.
