Federer targets another record in London

LONDON (AP) -- A year dominated by Novak Djokovic could end with yet another record for Roger Federer.

The Swiss star is seeking his sixth title at the ATP World Tour Finals, which would put him one clear of Ivan Lendl and Pete Sampras.

Federer says the record is a "motivation" and "it's nice to be part of such an elite group" as he prepares for his first group match against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga on Sunday.

While Djokovic nurses a shoulder injury, defending champion Federer comes into season-ending London tournament in prime form after winning back-to-back titles in Basel and Paris.
