CLEVELAND (AP) — The Cleveland Indians are working on a deal to bring back former All-Star center fielder Grady Sizemore.

Last month, the Indians declined a $9 million club option on Sizemore for next season, making him a free agent. Sizemore’s agent, Joe Urbon, said in an email to the AP on Sunday that he “will continue to work through details with the Indians over the weekend.” Urbon said nothing “is done or agreed upon.”

It is believed the Indians are discussing a one-year contract loaded with incentives for Sizemore, who has been slowed by injuries the past three years.

The 29-year-old has undergone five surgeries in the past two years. He recently had right knee surgery for a bad bone bruise that limited him to 71 games in 2011.
