No. 2 Kentucky beats Old Dominion 62-52

UNCASVILLE, Conn. (AP) — Senior Darius Miller came off the bench to score 13 points and lead a young Kentucky team past Old Dominion 62-52 Sunday to win the Hall of Fame Tip-off Classic in Connecicut.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist also scored 13 points and fellow freshman Anthony Davis added 11 points, nine rebounds and three blocked shots for the No. 2 Wildcats (4-0), who beat Penn State 85-47 on Saturday.

The Wildcats used a 12-1 run late to exend a 50-49 lead, holding Old Dominion without a field goal for the last seven minutes of the game.

Chris Cooper had 17 points and 12 rebounds for Old Dominion (3-2). Trian Iliadis added 11 points and Kent Bazemore had 10 for the Monarchs, who were coming off a 68-66 overtime win against South Florida.
