UNLV cruises past Morgan State 92-55

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Mike Moser had a career high 23 points along with 17 rebounds to lead UNLV past Morgan State 92-55 in the first round of the Las Vegas Invitational on Sunday night.

The red-shirt sophomore forward was 10 of 19 from the field with six assists and five steals as the Rebels (4-0) shot 35 of 67 for 52 percent from the field.

Chace Stanback had 20 points and seven rebounds for UNLV, which never trailed and led 39-24 at intermission.

Anthony Marshall had 13 points and eight assists while Oscar Bellfield had 12 points and five rebounds for the Rebels, who built a 41-point second-half lead.

Sophomore Ian Chiles had career highs of 16 points and seven rebounds for the Bears (0-3). Shaquille Duncan added 11 points for Morgan State, which travels to USC on Tuesday for the second round while UNLV hosts Cal Poly.
