No. 20 LSU dominates Arkansas-Pine Bluff, 80-28

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — LaSondra Barrett scored 14 points and all 11 Lady Tigers in uniform hit from the field as No. 20 LSU routed winless Arkansas-Pine Bluff 80-28 on Monday night.

Adrienne Webb added 12 points and Theresa Plaisance scored 11 for LSU (3-1). Barrett hit five of six shots, made four of five free throws and grabbed seven rebounds.

Lakendra Marsh scored 13 points for the Golden Lions (0-4), who turned the ball over 35 times.

LSU broke the game open with a 27-2 run in the first half that gave the Lady Tigers a 32-6 lead.

Arkansas-Pine Bluff made only three of its first 19 shots and the Lady Tigers led 47-8 at halftime, setting an LSU record for the fewest points allowed in a half.
