Magee, Texas-Pan American roll past Victory 83-64

EDINBURG, Texas (AP) -- Jared Maree scored 14 points to lead Texas-Pan American to an 83-64 win over Victory on Tuesday night in the final game of the UTPA Tip-Off Classic.
Brandon Provost added 13 points for the Broncs (2-4). Josh Cleveland and Enique Mason scored 12 each.
Keron Jackson scored 16 points for the Eagles (6-3).
The Broncs shot 57 percent (31-for-54) while holding the Eagles to 37 percent (23-for-62).
UTPA led 41-13 late in the first half before the Eagles' 13-4 run enabled them to pull within 45-26.
Texas-Pan American opened the second half on a 7-0 spurt and kept the lead above 20 most of the way from there.
