Celebrity Sighting wins Big A feature

NEW YORK (AP) -- Celebrity Sighting beat Spina by a length Wednesday in the $52,000 allowance feature for fillies and mares at Aqueduct.

Never worse than third at any point, Celebrity Sighting and jockey Irad Ortiz Jr. took charge turning for home on her way to her fourth win in nine starts. The gray 3-year-old trained by Rudy Rodriguez ran six furlongs in 1:11.90 on the sloppy track.

Celebrity Sighting paid $8, $3.50 and $3. Spina, the 6-5 favorite, returned $2.80 and $2.50, and Lynnette paid $4.30 to show.
