• MAIL: No home delivery today, except for Express Mail. Most post offices closed today. The postal unit inside the Shell gas station at Fisher’s Landing, 16320 S.E. Cascade Park Drive, is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Post offices open Friday; mail delivered.

• GARBAGE: Today’s trash and recyclables in Vancouver and most of Clark County will be picked up Friday; Friday’s trash and recyclables will be collected Saturday. In Camas, today’s trash and recyclables will be picked up Monday with Monday’s regular collections, and Friday’s trash and recyclables will be picked up with Tuesday’s collections.

• TRANSFER STATIONS: West Van Materials Recovery Center, 6601 N.W. Old Lower River Road, and Central Transfer and Recycling Center, 11034 N.E. 117th Ave., closed today, open Friday.

• PUBLIC SCHOOLS: No classes today and Friday.

• COLLEGES: No classes at Clark College and Washington State University Vancouver today and Friday.

• GOVERNMENT: City, county and state offices closed today and Friday. Federal offices closed today, open Friday.

• ANIMAL SHELTER: Humane Society for Southwest Washington shelter closed today, open Friday.

• PUBLIC LIBRARIES: Fort Vancouver Regional Library headquarters and branch libraries closed today, open Friday. Camas Public Library closed today and Friday, open Saturday.

• BUSES: C-Tran and TriMet follow Sunday schedules today. C-Tran follows reduced service schedule Friday. TriMet will provide regular service Friday.

• PARKING: Meters in downtown Vancouver free today and Friday.

• DRIVER LICENSING: Offices closed today and Friday.

• VEHICLE LICENSING: Offices closed today and Friday.

• EMISSIONS TESTING: Closed today, open Friday.

• LIQUOR STORES: State-operated stores closed today, open Friday.

• ZOO: Oregon Zoo open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and Friday.

• BANKS: Closed today, open Friday.

• FINANCIAL MARKETS: New York Stock Exchange, Nasdaq and other markets closed today. Markets close early Friday, at 10 a.m. PST.

• FORT VANCOUVER NATIONAL SITE: Visitor Center and fort are closed today, open Friday. The park’s grounds and trails are open both days.

• CLARK COUNTY HISTORICAL MUSEUM: Closed today and Friday.

• WESTFIELD VANCOUVER MALL: Closed today; open 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday. Three anchor stores, JC Penney, Macy’s and Sears, open at 4 a.m. Friday. Hours subject to change.
