The word entitlement is used as a pejorative in reference to everything from welfare to Social Security and Medicare, always targeting those dependent on systems into which recipients have paid. The greatest sense of entitlement lies in the 1 percent. What they lack in silk britches, white wigs and snuff boxes they make up with pure gall.
