TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) — Arizona State’s season has rapidly deteriorated with three straight losses, four in the past five games.

Amazingly, the Sun Devils still have a shot at winning the Pac-12 South.

With division leader Southern California ineligible for the postseason, the Sun Devils are just a game behind UCLA.

Should Arizona State beat California on Friday night, UCLA lose to USC and Utah beat Colorado, the Pac-12 title goes to the Sun Devils.

If both Arizona State and UCLA win, the Bruins would earn the title after beating the Sun Devils on Nov. 5.

Cal rolled over Arizona State 50-17 last season in Berkeley
