ALBANY, Ore. (AP) — Police are investigating a crash on Interstate 5 south of Albany that killed an adult woman on Thanksgiving.

Oregon State Police say the victim was driving a sport utility vehicle southbound when it collided into the rear of another vehicle with two occupants. The SUV rolled through the median and came to rest on its wheels blocking both northbound traffic lanes.

Police say the victim was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the truck. The two adults traveling in the other vehicle were wearing seatbelts and were not injured.

The victim’s name has not been released pending notification of her family. All traffic lanes have been reopened.
