Armed robber strikes Vancouver gas station

Vancouver police are investigating the Saturday night armed robbery of a Chevron gas station and convenience store in Fisher’s Landing.
The robbery occurred about 8:30 p.m. at 16406 S.E. 26th St., according to emergency radio traffic monitored at The Columbian.
The suspect was described as a white man, about 5 feet, 6 inches to 5 feet, 8 inches tall, and about 150 pounds. He was wearing a blue bandana and a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt.
The suspect, who was believed to be armed, left on foot.
Authorities said they had no new information on Sunday evening.
