PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Ramon Galloway scored 21 points and La Salle defeated Rider 82-70 on Saturday.

La Salle jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the Philly Hoop Group Classic game and never trailed. The Explorers (3-3), leading 58-52 midway through the second half, went on a 16-3 run to grab their largest lead at 74-55 with 8:13 to play. Tyreek Duren capped the run with two free throws.

Devon White scored 17 points, Sam Mills added 13 points and Earl Pettis had 11 for the Explorers, who have won four of the past five meetings in the series.

Jeff Jones scored 24 points and Daniel Stewart added 22 for Rider (1-6), which has lost four games this season by double digits.
