Marine girlfriend starts prison term for sex abuse

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- A Portland woman who pleaded guilty to sexually abusing a 1-year-old and emailing footage of the abuse to a Marine boyfriend overseas has begun serving a 25-year sentence.
The Oregonian reports 25-year-old Inez Lambert went to prison Friday. She was sentenced this month in Multnomah County Circuit Court.
In August, she pleaded guilty to two counts each of first-degree sodomy and using a child in the display of sexually explicit conduct.
Court records indicate a friend of Lambert's saw three videos in her email account and called a child abuse tip line in January. Authorities say the victim was a child whom Lambert babysat.
Lambert's boyfriend Corey McAdoo, of Vancouver, Wash., was arrested in Afghanistan on charges of receiving child pornography. His trial in U.S. District Court is scheduled to begin in January. He faces at least five years in prison if convicted.
