Wofford beats Prairie View A&M 56-49

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. (AP) — Kevin Giltner scored 15 points and Brad Loesing added 14 as Wofford defeated Prairie View A&M 56-49 in the consolation round of the Chicago Invitational Challenge on Saturday.

Loesing also had five assists and three steals for the Terriers (3-3). Jourdan Demuynck was the only player in double figures for the Panthers (2-5) with 10 points.

Both teams struggled to score in the first half, with Wofford leading 19-17 at the break despite 27 percent accuracy from the outside. Prairie View made just five shots and 31 percent from the field. For the game, the Terriers finished at 36 percent and the Panthers at 38 percent.
