Yale makes big 2nd-half run to beat Army 84-75

WEST POINT, N.Y. (AP) — Austin Morgan scored 10 of his 19 first-half points in a 23-6 Yale run, and the Bulldogs went on another tear in the second half to beat Army 84-75 Saturday night.

In a seesaw first half, Army (2-4) led by nine points early, then fell behind by eight. The Black Knights rallied to take a one-point lead with 13:17 to play, but Yale (3-2) made a 24-9 run over the next 10 minutes to break it open for good.

Morgan finished with 27 points, including five 3-pointers. Greg Mangano had a double-double for the Bulldogs, scoring 25 points and grabbing 14 rebounds. Jeremiah Kreisberg also recorded a double-double with 11 points and 10 boards.

The Black Knights had three players in double figures. Josh Herbeck led the way with 16 points. Ella Ellis added 15, but hit on just 1 of 7 3-point attempts, and Andrew Stire had 11.
