PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- A Portland woman says someone stole two of her pet rabbits and left a note saying they'd be in better hands.
Fiona Petra told KATU (http://is.gd/YOVoql ) the rabbits were taken over the weekend from outside her home. In their place was a note from the HALO League. HALO stands for Helping Animals Live Outside.
One of the rabbits, named Truly, was found Monday by a woman who recognized her from a news report about the theft. The other rabbit, named Old Money, is still missing.
Petra says she is an animal activist who knows how to properly care for her pets.
