Woman dies of smoke inhalation in Bainbridge fire

BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, Wash. (AP) -- The 67-year-old woman found dead in a fire at her Bainbridge Island home died of smoke inhalation.
The Kitsap Sun reports (http://is.gd/NqOaa1 ) the Kitsap County coroner's office conducted an autopsy Sunday on 67-year-old Shirley Dillenburg.
Her body was found early Saturday by firefighters.
Fire Chief Hank Teran said the cause of the fire remains under investigation Monday, but it was not suspicious.
Dillenburg lived alone. Her dog also died in the fire.
Damage to the home is estimated at about $200,000.
