AP source: Talks continue on WSU coach’s future

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — An official within the university administration says Washington State football coach Paul Wulff will meet with athletic director Bill Moos on Tuesday morning with Wulff’s fate still undecided.

The official spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity Tuesday because he was not authorized to speak publicly on the issue. He says a decision on Wulff’s future at the university could come early in the day.

A news conference regarding the coach has been scheduled for Tuesday afternoon.

Moos had previously said that he would reach a decision on Wulff by Tuesday.

Wulff has been on the hot seat this season as the Cougars struggled to a 4-8 record. Wulff is 9-40 in his four years at Washington State.
