OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Creighton is 5-0 and outscoring the opposition by 24 points a game. The Bluejays will get a better idea of how good they are Wednesday night when they play at San Diego State.

A home game against in-state rival Nebraska follows on Sunday, then a visit to St. Joseph’s on Dec. 10.

Coach Greg McDermott said games against those nonconference opponents will be important when NCAA tournament selections are made.

The Bluejays are fourth nationally in scoring at just under 90 points a game. They’re in the top 10 in four other offensive categories.

Doug McDermott is the nation’s No. 4 scorer at 23.4 points a game.
