N. Michigan hires Ostrowsky as football coach

MARQUETTE, Mich. (AP) — Northern Michigan promoted offensive coordinator Chris Ostrowsky to head football coach Wednesday after the Division II school decided not to renew Bernie Anderson’s contract.

Ostrowsky spent the last two seasons as offensive coordinator of the Wildcats (4-7). He previously coached at Division I FCS Northeastern, which shut down its program in 2009.
