North Dakota defeats Jamestown College 74-66

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — Troy Huff scored 23 points and Patrick Mitchell added 21 to lead North Dakota to a 74-66 victory against Jamestown (N.D.) College on Wednesday night.

Josh Shuler had 12 points, Mitchell four blocks and Jamal Webb five steals for the Fighting Sioux (4-2).

Brandon Robbins and Mark Hoge had 12 points each for Jamestown, a NAIA school that classified the game as an exhibition. The Jimmies’ record remained 7-3.

North Dakota led by 18 points in the second half, but Jamestown rallied to within 65-61 on Davon Thomas’ three-point play with 3:10 remaining. But the Jimmies had six turnovers down the stretch, enabling the Sioux to protect the lead with free throws.
