Round-the-clock police standoff in Walla Walla

WALLA WALLA, Wash. (AP) — A police standoff that started at 4 p.m. Tuesday continued more than 18 hours later at a Walla Walla trailer park.

Officer Tim Bennett says officers attempted to arrest two suspects wanted on several warrants including a shooting, but they retreated inside a trailer and refused to come out.

The two are believed to be armed.

KONA reports one is wanted in connection with a gang-related shooting last month.
