Evergreen High grad Morgan Harris had 16 kills and Columbia River grad Heide Davis had 14 as the Clark College volleyball team held off visiting Highline of Des Moines in five games Friday night at the O’Connell Center.

Scores were 25-18, 17-25, 23-25, 25-14, 15-13.

It was the second consecutive five-game victory for Clark.

“It was a tough match because Highline has good hitters,” Clark coach Jessie Uribe said. “We had to keep up with them.”

Union High grad Carmen LaFond had 22 digs for Clark (5-5 overall, 3-0 NWAACC), and Fort Vancouver grad Baylee Dunkel had 30 assists and 13 digs.

Clark next hosts Pierce at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the O’Connell Center.
