Letter: Many residents rely on C-Tran

The Columbian
Published: September 30, 2011, 5:00pm

C-Tran is an independence tool for the elderly, disabled and low income. Public transit provides an affordable option for the elderly to get to medical facilities, grocery stores and the pharmacy.

Access to public transportation gives the disabled independence by providing their way to get to school, work, church and medical appointments. C-Tran provides freedom for people from every walk of life.

Please vote to approve C-Tran’s Proposition 1 on the Nov. 8 ballot.
