Driver killed in high-speed crash in Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- Police say the woman found dead at the scene of a high-speed crash in southwest Portland was the driver.
She was ejected from the vehicle early Sunday and died at the scene.
Police say the driver lost control on a curve, crossed the median, crashed through a fence and sheared off a tree before smashing into an empty house.
