ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) — Michigan has taken advantage of opening the season with five straight games at home.
The Wolverines have won every game, including their Big Ten opener 58-0 over Minnesota, to climb to No. 12 in The Associated Press college football poll Sunday.
Now they have to hit the road.
Michigan’s next two games are at Northwestern and at Michigan State.
The Wildcats fell to .500 overall, blowing an 18-point point lead and losing the conference opener at Illinois. The Spartans, who are 4-1, have a bye after winning at Ohio State.
Michigan gave opponents something new to prepare for after lining up Denard Robinson at running back and Devin Gardner at quarterback against Minnesota.
