The 5-foot-8 product of Pearland, Texas, rushed for 291 yards and two scores in Saturday’s 55-10 win over Bowling Green, giving a needed boost to a Mountaineers running game that had been sorely lacking in the first four games.
The offensive balance comes just in time as West Virginia (4-1) gets ready to open Big East play on Saturday at home against Connecticut (2-3).
