AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Texas senior safety Christian Scott is out indefinitely with a right wrist injury.

Texas athletic trainer Kenny Boyd says Scott was hurt in Saturday’s win over Iowa State. Boyd says Scott will continue to be evaluated but is out indefinitely.

The injury further hurts Texas’ depth in the secondary as the No. 11 Longhorns (4-0) prepare to play No. 3 Oklahoma (4-0) on Saturday. Another safety, Nolan Brewster, recently gave up football because of concussions and migraine headaches.

Scott missed the first three games due to suspension after pleading no contest to a misdemeanor assault charge.
